Are you passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into stunning residential landscapes? We're seeking a motivated and creative Landscape Design InternS to join our team this summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in residential landscape design, providing an opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment.

Opportunity:

The Summer Internship Program provides an opportunity to gain design experience in a collaborative open studio setting. Interns will be exposed to and can develop interests in various aspects of residential landscape architecture. Our interns integrate into small project teams and play a role in schematic and design development, client presentations, construction detailing, permitting, bidding, permitting, and site inspections.

 As an intern, you will also engage in our office activities, including occasional social outings. We work hard and like to have fun!

Responsibilities:

•       Assist in the design and development of residential landscape projects in a team under the guidance of experienced designers.
•       Contribute to conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed construction drawings.
•       Conduct site analysis and research to support design decisions.
•       Collaborate with team members and affiliated professionals to refine design solutions based on client needs and project requirements.
•       Gain exposure to project management processes, including client meetings, site visits, and project documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

•       Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a landscape architecture program.
•       Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Lumion, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
•       Strong graphic and presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
•       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•       Knowledge of plant materials, construction techniques, site engineering and sustainable design principles.
•       Enthusiasm for residential landscape design and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
